Hello Fish Fans, The fishing off the coast of Stuart Florida’s been good aboard the REEL BUSY but we’ve had to mix it up to find success. The dolphin fishing’s been hit & miss the last couple of weeks so we’ve been starting are day looking for dolphin & tuna hoping they want to play the game. We’re still catching a few 5 to 10 pound blackfin tuna on the hill but there’s allot of puni tuni this time of year. Most of the dolphin we’ve been catching have been out of the blue while fishing for tuna or sailfish. The westerly winds have been pushing the weeds and debris to the east side of the gulfstream for a couple of weeks now so it’s hit & miss dolphin fishing for the time being. The sailfishing’s been good and there cruising along the current edges in small groups and pairs. Although it’s not considered prime time for sailfishing there’s allot of sailfish off the coast of Stuart right now and we’ll be happy to hook you up if you want to catch’em. Yesterday as we were closing in on a sailfish release another popped up behind him and it was party time. After feeding the sailfish a couple of baits Casey got him hooked up and it was a tail-walking show they’ll never forget. The kingfish showed up in numbers with the last full moon and the kingfishing’s been excellent for a week or two now. We caught a 42 pound kingfish a couple of days ago that shot out of the water 15 feet in the air before hitting the water and screaming off 100 yards of line, it was an awesome sight to see.
