Welcome aboard the REEL BUSY and to our Stuart Florida Fishing Report. May is usually prime time for a red hot dolphin bite off the coast of Stuart but 2017 delivered scattered weeds and a hit and miss dolphin bite. We’re catching sailfish, dolphin, tuna, wahoo, kingfish and bonito throughout the summer months on our Stuart Florida Fishing Charters. Sailfish, dolphin, tuna, wahoo and blue marlin on our Bahamas fishing Adventures. 
The dolphin bites been scattered about for weeks, some days good but other days not so much. We’ve been getting a few more dolphin bites the last couple of days and we’re hoping for a good dolphin bite this summer. 
The summer sailfish bite’s off to a good start as well. We’ve been catching one or two sailfish on most of our fishing charters. The sailfish are scattered about so we’ve caught them in as little as 85 feet of water live baiting the reefs and 300 feet of water trolling for dolphin/tuna. The sailfish bite will be good to excellent most days during the summer months and we’ll be happy to get you hooked up’
We’ve had a decent black fin tuna bite on a ridge just 10 miles off the coast of Stuart. Most of these blackfin tuna are 4 to 8 pounds and we’re catching a few of 15 to 25 pounds. We’ve had a few weather cancellations so we’ve only made a couple of east side tuna trips last month. We didn’t find much of a yellowfin tuna bite but caught blackfin tuna of 15 to 25 pounds, dolphin, wahoo and broke off a blue marlin. 
Kingfish of 5 to 15 pounds are stacking up on the reefs and wrecks right now and there’s been a few 35 to 45 pound kingfish in the mix. There’s been a few cobia and amberjacks on the reefs and wrecks as well.
