The fishing off the coast of Stuart Florida this time of year is mostly good to excellent but timing is everything. The Sailfishing had been excellent until a nasty cold front came through and turned everything upside down. The gulfstream was pushed from 6 miles to 13 miles offshore scattering the Sailfish everywhere inbetween. We went from catching 3 to 5 daily to hoping we’d get lucky and catch 1 or 2. The Dolphin fishing was about the same, we caught Dolphin up to 20 pounds but they were scattered about as well. The Kingfish are starting to move in and there’s been a few Cobia starting to show up as well. Easterly winds have been blowing the gulfstream closer to the reef the last couple of days so the fishing should get back to normal this week. Thanks to all that fished with us this year and hope to see you again in 2011. I’ll be back next week with another fishing report from Stuart Florida, Sailfish Capital of the World.  Catch you later, Capt. Wayne, Reel Busy Charters 772-341-6609
